The article discusses the development of Wiki2Story, an automatic tool that transforms Wikipedia articles into interactive Web Stories. These stories are designed to be suitable for mobile browsing, providing a more user-friendly way to consume information on handheld devices. The tool uses language and layout models to break down an article into multiple Story paths according to the document’s hierarchy. Each slice is then turned into a multi-page summary Story composed of text and image pairs in visually-appealing layouts. User studies showed that Wiki2Story effectively captures and presents the content from the original articles and sparks interest in viewers.
