In the age of advancing technology, 6G wireless networks aim for elevated intelligent communication, sensing, and computing. The integration of Big Artificial Intelligence Models (BAIM) emerges as a pivotal force to accomplish these aspirations. The paper casts light on the prospects, design, and deployment of wireless-specific BAIMs (wBAIMs), emphasizing their anticipated significance in fostering high-efficiency, versatility, and extended wireless intelligence for 6G. While wBAIMs promise to redefine intelligent wireless services, they also present their own set of challenges that require diligent research and strategic application.
