The article introduces Clonemator, a virtual reality system that allows users to clone their avatars in different spatial and temporal configurations. These clones can mimic user movements, freeze in a pose, or replay a sequence of user actions at a later time. This enables users to simplify complex tasks by collaborating with their clones. The article also demonstrates the flexibility of Clonemator through examples and validates its effectiveness with a preliminary user study. The potential of Clonemator in VR applications such as gaming, spatial interaction techniques, and multi-robot control is also discussed.
