The study presents an AI application named Deep Search DocQA. This system enables users to extract information from Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure reports via a question-answering conversational assistant. The assistant can explore over 10,000 ESG reports from more than 2000 corporations. The system converts documents into machine-readable formats, locates relevant data, and formulates responsive answers. This application can assist researchers, policy-makers, lawyers, and corporations in extracting insights from ESG data.
