This paper presents a new dataset that assists in the information extraction process in Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) using AI. This dataset includes explanatory arguments for correct and incorrect answers to questions from the Spanish Residency Medical Exams. The paper also introduces a novel extractive task that identifies the explanation of the correct answer written by medical doctors. The results demonstrate that this approach can effectively aid medical practitioners in identifying relevant evidence-based explanations for medical questions.
