The article introduces FAMuS (Frames Across Multiple Sources), a new corpus of Wikipedia passages reporting on events, paired with diverse source articles for the same event. It aims to tackle the limitations of current language processing approaches that mainly focus on single sentences or documents. FAMuS enables two key event understanding tasks: source validation and cross-document argument extraction. The corpus provides event and cross-sentence argument annotations on over 1,255 Wikipedia passages, each paired with argument annotations for the same event from the cited source document.
