FocusFlow is a hands-free interaction method that utilizes human visual depth perception within 3D scenes of Virtual Reality (VR). The researchers developed a binocular visual depth detection algorithm and proposed a layer-based user interface. They introduced the concept of a ‘Virtual Window’ for intuitive and robust gaze-depth VR interaction. They also proposed learning strategies using different visual cues to help users master visual depth control. User studies demonstrated the usability of this method and the enhancement of user experience through an effective learning process.
