The study examines the influence of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) on spending behavior among Indian users. The research involved surveys and interviews, with approximately 75% of respondents reporting increased spending due to UPI. The study also found high satisfaction rates with UPI usage, with 91.5% of respondents expressing satisfaction and 95.2% finding it convenient. The research provides suggestions for UPI applications and stakeholders to enhance digital payment systems, fostering responsible financial management.
