This study investigates the impact of COVID-19 home confinement on individuals’ emotional states and mobile usage behaviors. The research shows that confinement is linked to decreased happiness and increased work time. It also reveals that human well-being can be inferred from mobile usage patterns. The study’s findings could inform the development of interventions and remote programs to support individuals in similar situations in the future.
