KNIMEZoBot is a solution to the challenges faced by academic researchers in keeping up with the vast amount of published findings in their fields. It integrates Zotero, OpenAI, and the KNIME visual programming platform to automate literature review tasks. This tool is designed for users with no coding experience and leverages KNIME’s interface to create workflows for searching Zotero libraries and using OpenAI models to extract key information. KNIMEZoBot allows users to ask natural language questions and retrieve relevant passages from papers to generate synthesized answers. It has significant potential to speed up literature reviews and expand accessibility for researchers unfamiliar with coding.
