The SENS3 database is an open-access repository of multisensory data from finger-surface interactions. Developed by researchers from the Delft University of Technology, the database includes visual, audio, and haptic information, along with psychophysical sensation ratings from participants. This data could be valuable for enhancing texture rendering, user experience development, and touch sensing in robotics. The database addresses the need for more comprehensive and naturalistic data in this field, as previous databases often focused on limited sensory cues or neglected bare-finger interactions.
