This study explores how AI-generated digital self-clones can enhance online presentation skills. Conducted on 44 international students, the study compared self-recorded videos with AI self-clone videos for English presentation practice. The AI videos utilized voice cloning, face swapping, lip-sync, and body-language simulation to improve presentations. The study found that AI clones resulted in reduced speech anxiety and increased enjoyment, recommending their ethical use for enhancing emotional and cognitive facets of skill development.
