This research is focused on understanding the influence of gender attribution in non-humanoid robots on human-robot interaction. It aims to fill a gap in the existing literature regarding how gender plays a role in the design and interaction with non-humanoid robots. The study explores whether interactions could be more effective, trustworthy, or relatable when specific gender cues are emphasized. It also investigates how these cues could potentially improve or impair task-specific performance. The findings of the study are expected to guide future robot design and programming.
