The paper discusses a new framework that uses Inductive Logic Programming to learn the semantics of argumentation. Argumentation is a key area within Artificial Intelligence, used for resolving conflicts or drawing conclusions based on evidence. The proposed framework aims to learn the acceptability semantics for several abstract and structured argumentation frameworks in an interpretable way, outperforming existing argumentation solvers. This suggests new research directions in formal argumentation and human-machine dialogues.
