These intelligent drones have the potential to revolutionize these tasks by eliminating risks for human operators, increasing productivity, reducing inspection time, and improving data collection quality. The system is designed for extended-range inspections beyond the visual line of sight, includes aerial manipulators for maintenance tasks, and supports human operators working at elevated heights. It has been successfully tested on numerous electrical power lines.
