The article presents a study introducing a cyber-twin framework to enhance the security of Roadside Units (RSUs) in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). The framework combines digital twin technology with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to offer a real-time, dynamic representation of RSUs, enabling detailed monitoring and efficient detection of threats. This significantly strengthens RSU security in VANETs and contributes to eco-friendly communication by improving computational efficiency, leading to increased energy efficiency and extended hardware durability. The results show an enhancement in resource management and attack detection, surpassing existing solutions.
