The article discusses the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) in providing decision support for workers in hybrid work environments, particularly in terms of workspace selection. The study involved an evaluation of how LLMs can offer suggestions and explanations to workers balancing various decision factors, thereby improving their work experience. The findings of the study suggest that employees’ decisions can be influenced by the suggestions and explanations provided by the LLMs. Furthermore, the study concludes that LLM-empowered systems can benefit employees in selecting their workspaces in a hybrid workplace.
