The study presents NeighViz, a visual analytics system designed to understand neighborhood effects on individual behaviors among social groups. This tool is developed in response to the increasing availability of large-scale, individual-level census data, which traditional statistical methods struggle to analyze effectively. With NeighViz, social scientists can explore, understand, and verify the influence of local environments on human behaviors, such as political engagement. The system proves effective and usable in analyzing multi-variate neighborhood effects between social groups.
