The study analyzes the implementation of Software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) over Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) at the Housing Bank in Algeria. It uses FortiGate for the SD-WAN solution and compares it to traditional MPLS and direct internet access across metrics such as bandwidth, latency, jitter, packet loss, throughput, and quality of service (QoS). The analysis also covers security measures including encryption, firewall, intrusion prevention, web filtering, antivirus, and addressing threats like spoofing, DoS attacks, and unauthorized access. The study concludes that SD-WAN over MPLS provides enhanced performance, security, and flexibility.
